Invisible Story by Tibor Szemző - interactive installation, 2008
Niewidzialna historia (Làthatatlan történet) - Interactive audiovisual exhibition
Invisible Story was inspired by educational films developed on 8mm tape
in former German Democratic Republic and by poetic texts by Hungarian
philosopher Béla Hamvas to which between 1996 and 2000 Szemző had
composed a number of pieces (Seven Music Sketches for Mixed Ensemble)
released under the same name (The Invisible Story). These compositions
create the sound layer of the installation but this time Hamvas' texts
had been translated in Polish, recorded, remixed and incorporated into
the original sound structure.
Tibor Szemző, born in 1955 in Budapest, is a composer, musician,
